Hurricane Irma-related property-insurance claims continue to mount in Florida, nearing $3.6 billion in estimated insured losses as of a weekend count, according to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation website. As of Saturday night, 562,262 claims had been filed, with the estimated losses at $3,579,859,034. The largest number of claims, 63,823, had been filed in Miami-Dade County, the state website said.
