Two people were killed in a crash involving 20 vehicles, including three semi-trailers, Monday night. The crash happened on I-25 near Romeroville where roads were icy due to freezing temperatures in the area. New Mexico State police said the crash started after one car traveling northbound slid off the roadway and crashed into the median divider. A semi-truck trying to avoid the crash became jack-knifed in the roadway prompting multiple vehicles, including another semi-trailer, to crash into one another. A third semi then crashed into the pileup causing several cars behind it to crash as well.
