Suspected Tornado Tears Roofs Off Homes In Southeast Texas

Seven people were rescued early this morning after the second story of a home was destroyed by a possible tornado in Holiday Beach near Rockport in Aransas County. When our crew arrived on scene, severe damage could be seen along Belaire Drive in Holiday Beach. Seven construction workers were rebuilding the home after it was badly damaged by Hurricane Harvey. The men said most of the home was finished being rebuilt. Around 1:30 a.m., the workers got an alert on their phones warning of a tornado in the area.
