Louisiana Fire Investigator, Wife Accused Of Insurance Fraud

An investigator with the Monroe Fire Department and his wife are accused of insurance fraud following an investigation by the Louisiana State Police. According to an arrest warrant filed on May 14 in 4th Judicial District Court, an investigation into the alleged fraud started in July of 2017. The complaint accused David and Dana Fuller Hill, ages 53 and 37, of filing a fraudulent property damage insurance claim by reporting their 2002 Volvo was damaged during a hail storm in Lincoln Parish. According to the complaint, the Hills reportedly misrepresented material facts pertaining to the claim in an attempt to receive payment for pre-existing damages from their current insurance provider.
