A vintage plane crashed during takeoff Saturday morning in central Texas, injuring several of the 13 people on board, officials said.
Everyone on board survived the crash that happened about 9 a.m. as the plane, a Commemorative Air Force World War II aircraft, departed from the Burnet Municipal Airport, about 60 miles northwest of Austin, the Burnet County Sheriffs office said. One person was airlifted to the San Antonio Military Medical Center with significant burn injuries. Seven others were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
