Widespread Windstorm Damage Reported In Minnesota, Wisconsin

Damage has been reported in portions of Minnesota and western Wisconsin after severe storms moved through the area Monday. According to the National Weather Service, an 82 mph wind gust was reported in Red Wing. Red Wing police reported damage including downed trees and damaged roofs. Chopper 5 captured video of damage at the Red Wing Regional Airport, which is across the river in Wisconsin. There have been no reports of injuries, according to Red Wing police. On Red Wing resident whose home suffered minor damage called it the worst storm he’s ever seen. "We’ve had some bad storms, but nothing like the one today," Don Oliver said.
