Severe Storm Leaves Property Damage In Dauphin Island, Alabama

"All of a sudden the wind started hitting the windows and I thought it was going to bust. I looked over and here it came and I screamed to the people in the house ’Get up! Get in the halls,’" said Starr Boykin.

Chaos erupted on Dauphin Island after heavy wind and rain knocked down power lines, trees and damaged many homes and businesses.

The storm left thousands on the island without power. "The whole house was shaking. It was nuts," said Robby Cowan. "I was worried about the glass sucking in and just decapitating us or something," said Starr Boykin.
