More than 100 firefighters responded to a four-alarm fire at the vacant Ambassador Hotel in downtown Dallas early Tuesday morning. According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, firefighters were called out at about 1:30 a.m. to 1312 South Ervay St. Flames could be seen from multiple locations of the building when they arrived at the scene. Officials said they shifted to a defensive approach as the fire continued to escalate. Multiple sections of the six-story building have collapsed before the fire was extinguished at 5 a.m.
