A new member/fellow benefit is coming to CLMs webinar series in 2020: In addition to offering topical and practical information nearly every week, many of these webinars will now qualify for an hour of continuing education in certain states.
Offering CE for its webinars has been a goal of CLM since early 2019, and several webinars that took place late last year served as a de facto pilot program to test out the process and iron out any wrinkles.
With that said, heres what you need to know about earning CE by attending CLMs webinars. Earning CE Requires Attention to Detail. To earn a CE credit, attendees must watch the entire 60 minutes of a webinar, answer two poll questions, and respond to three attendance prompts.
On the content development side, presenters will face similar requirements as they do when presenting at any one of CLMs conferencesthat means developing presentation materials sometimes months in advance of the webinar in order to get it approved through participating states.
