# Selective Group's Employees Contribute to Disaster Relief

Selective Insurance Group, Inc., and its employees announced yesterday that they have made a donation of $100,000 to support the victims of Tuesday's national tragedy.

Recipients will include the families of police officers and emergency workers who were killed and injured in the rescue effort, as well as the American Red Cross, the company said.

"Like all Americans, our employees, many with family and friends working in the impacted areas, were simply horrified by the actions of terrorists against our country," said Gregory E. Murphy, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the Branchville, N.J.-based organization.

"We are fortunate that our insurance operation has limited exposure in the New York City area, with very few claims expected," he said.
