Nine people were displaced after their apartment building erupted in flames in the middle of the night, early Sunday.
According to witnesses, total chaos broke out as the blaze ripped through the two-story structure on the 100 block of Northwest 30th Avenue, around 1:30 a.m. "Weve just seen the whole place on fire, we heard people yelling and screaming," said resident Joe Watson. "Upon their arrival, heavy fire showing from the first-floor apartment," said Broward Sheriffs Office Fire Rescue Chief Ray Briant. "Crews went in, zero visibility."
