
A former police officer in Massachusetts said a man walked into his restaurant while it was open for business and walked out with his 250-pound cash safe. Kevin Hynes, who worked for 10 years as a Weymouth police officer before running his Stockholders restaurant and two other eateries in the city, said a man came into Stockholders during business hours Sunday, walked downstairs to an employees-only area and walked back out of the store while concealing a 250-pound safe in a trash bag, the (Quincy, Mass.) Patriot Ledger reported Thursday.
