# Building Code Coalition Formed

Several insurance organizations have formed a coalition to lobby for the establishment and enforcement of uniform building codes to limit property losses during a disaster.

The Insurance Building Code Coalition thus far includes the Alliance of American Insurers, the American Insurance Association, the Insurance Services Office, Inc., the National Association of Independent Insurers, the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and the Reinsurance Association of America.
