* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.00 feet.
* Recent activity...The river rose above flood stage on Wednesday
July 17.
* Forecast...The river will crest near 17.8 feet by Wednesday July
17. The river will fall below flood stage Friday July 19.
* At stages near 18.0 feet...Significant amounts of rural land
downstream of Sioux Falls, and the salvage yard in extreme eastern
Sioux Falls, will begin to flood.
