The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a * Flood Warning for... Central Fremont County in central Wyoming... * Until 530 PM MDT Wednesday. * This river flood warning covers the Wind River from Bull Lake Creek to around Kinnear. The increased flows are the result of recent rainfall, and increased releases from Bull Lake Reservoir. * At 5 PM, the Wind River just downstream of Bull Lake Creek was at 10.3 feet. Flood stage is 10 feet. The river is expected to crest between 10.4 and 10.5 feet late tonight. At 10.5 feet, there will be moderate low land flooding. * At 5 PM, the Wind River near Kinnear was at 7.5 feet. Flood stage is 9 feet. The river is expected to crest around 8.5 feet Tuesday. At 8.5 feet, minor to moderate agricultural flooding occurs along the right bank. Also, water begins to move towards low areas north of Highway 132.
