Snow and colder weather will return to north-central Wyoming
Wednesday night...
.A quick moving cold front will bring a round of snow to the
Bighorn Mountains and northern Johnson County. Windy conditions
will accompany the snow Thursday morning.
...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 8
inches in the higher elevations, and around 3 inches in the
lower elevations are possible. Winds could gust as high as 40
mph.
* WHERE...Bighorn Mountains West, Bighorn Mountains Southeast
and Northeast Johnson County.
* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility, especially along
Interstates 25 and 90. The hazardous conditions could impact
the morning or evening commute.
