WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 8 PM EST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches. * WHERE...Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe Counties. * WHEN...From 5 AM to 8 PM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Plan for slow and hazardous road conditions during the morning commute. The evening commute is expected to be dangerously impacted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow will develop around 5 AM with just enough snow accumulation for hazardous conditions during the morning peak travel period. Snow will then steadily increase in coverage and intensity with the peak of the heaviest snowfall rates between 10 AM and 4 PM Wednesday. Travel conditions will deteriorate considerably during the afternoon into the evening commute.
