Northwest winds are forecast to be 10 to 15 MPH with gusts near 20 MPH. This, combined with recent dry conditions, will result in an elevated risk for the spread of wildfires Wednesday. Use extra caution if handling any potential ignition source, such as machinery, or cigarettes and matches. Be sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses, dead leaves, or other tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread fire quickly.
