Persons with respiratory illness should follow their physicians
advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods
of stagnant air.
Scattered snow showers are likely to continue into this evening.
Slippery, snow covered roads are expected mainly west of
Interstate 99, particularly in locations above 2000 feet
elevation.
Locations impacted include the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Route 31,
Route 219, and Route 56.
Wind gusts of up to 35 mph are also expected during this time. This
may create areas of blowing snow and reduced visibility, resulting
in hazardous travel.
Use extra caution if you must travel through this area. Rapid
changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may lead to
accidents.
Wind chills will fall into the single digits later tonight.
