At 1012 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lincolnville to near Walton to near Halstead,
moving southeast at 45 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR Moundridge, Hesston, Newton,
Marion, Hillsboro, Peabody and rural portions of McPherson, Marion,
Harvey, Butler, Chase, and Sedgwick counties.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
Locations impacted include...
Newton, Park City, Valley Center, Hesston, Hillsboro, Halstead,
Marion, North Newton, Moundridge, Sedgwick, Peabody, Whitewater,
Florence, Kechi, Goessel, Potwin, Walton, Elbing, Burns, and Cedar
Point.
This includes Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 16 and 50.
