Required Experience: | o Sales experience preferred.
o Claim administration and or commercial property and casualty insurance experience required.
o Strong existing relationships within the insurance community required.

Required Education: | Bachelor's degree from an accredicated college or university |
Position Requirements: | o Working knowledge of sales management, sales planning and goal setting and successful strategic and consultative selling techniques.
o Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of preparing reports and disseminating information and at least three years of experience speaking publicly and/or presenting to clients on topics related to workers compensation service offering
o Skilled at presenting in small and large group settings
o Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace
o Experience and understanding of broker procedures and requirements
o High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
o Skilled at developing and maintaining effective relationships with others (co-workers, customers, vendors, management and other key stakeholders) to achieve organizational goals

Job Details: | o Development of new business opportunities o Development and management of strategic business relationships with the following: o Private Sector Employers, Public Agency Employers, Insurance Brokers, Intermediaries, Joint Power Authorities, Captive Managers, Managing General Agencies & Insurance Companies. o Responsible for delivering capabilities presentations and proposals to key clients. o Responsible for improving and maintaining long-term high customer satisfaction. o Development, expansion and management of strategic business relationships with Insurance Brokers, Intermediaries, Captive Managers, Managing General Agencies & Insurance Companies. o Cross sell existing Managing General Agencies and Carrier relationships. o Participation in and coordination of sales presentations. o Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. o Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the sales volume. o Attend and participate in industry functions as a representative of the Company o Participation in and coordination of sales presentations o Lead in the development of Request for Proposals (RFP) responses o Assist in the analysis of lost sales opportunities o Assist in the coordination of the new business implementation process o Accumulate, document and report competitive market research o Lead in the development of corporate growth strategies o Ability to clearly discuss Workers’ Compensation and Property and Casualty claim administration o Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential o Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the sales volume. |
