$39M In Claims Filed For North Dakota Storm Damage

North Dakota’s insurance commissioner says damage claims from a storm last week in the Bismarck area total more than $39 million so far. Adam Hamm says there have been "significant reports" of damage to homes, vehicles, commercial property and other property from the June 17 storm. He says insurance carriers have brought in adjusters from across the region to handle the claims. Hamm says Insurance Department’s Fire and Tornado Fund also has been notified of damages to public facilities.
