Six people, including two firefighters, were treated after a Tuesday afternoon fire in the Wilkes County town of Ronda. The blaze happened at Precision Fibers at 145 Factory Street. Wilkes County EMS Director Greg Hendren said an initial call reported that an explosion had occurred. Five people -- three plant employees and two firefighters -- were taken to Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Those patients were expected to be released later Tuesday, according to a statement from the hospital.
