Adjuster to Review Damage Six Months After Accident

After months of being blocked off to the public, a portion of the Lake Gregory hiking trail damaged when an out of control car landed into it may soon be repaired. According to Troy Burton, County Regional Parks operations manager, the county has been waiting on an insurance settlement to give the green light to repairing the trail. “The (county’s) insurance adjuster was going out there today to look at it,” Burton said Tuesday morning. “It’s all been part of the process of going through risk management. Once the adjuster reports back, we will be going forward.”
