California Leads Nation In #DrivingSelfie Posts

California drivers take more selfies while driving than motorists in any other state, according to a new study by the insurance news and information site Auto Insurance Center. Distracted driving is the No. 1 cause of automobile accidents in America — more than drunk driving, speeding or reckless driving — and cell phone use is increasingly contributing to drivers not paying attention to the road. Using a phone while driving leads to "inattention blindness," meaning that drivers fail to truly see part of their driving environment even when glancing up from their devices.
