Car Crashes into Connecticut Gas Station Pump

A vehicle slammed into a gas pump Wednesday evening in Shelton. The car went off of the road, through trees and a guard rail and then hit the pump at the BP gas station at 198 Leavenworth Road, and rolled onto its side.
There were reports of occupants being trapped in the car. Wednesday night was the only night that Anthony Torraco took off from his job at the BP gas station. "I come here late shift. I would have been changing the garbage cans and seeing a car come flying at me. That would have been nuts," Torraco said.
