A pickup truck reported as stolen crashed into a Tijuana Flats in Avalon Park on Monday morning in an apparent robbery attempt, according to Orange County deputies. The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. at 1024 N. Avalon Park. There were no known injuries, and it does not appear anything was stolen from the restaurant, Orange County deputies said. The pickup, a blue Ford F-250, was found abandoned nearby with damage to its rear. Deputies said the truck was stolen from Avalon Park last week. No arrests have been made.
