Semi Sideswipes Trooper’s Vehicle During Traffic Stop

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is breathing a sigh of relief that no one was injured after an 18-wheeler sideswiped a State Trooper’s patrol car, along with a second vehicle, Tuesday morning. The officer had just initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle along Alabama Highway 110 in Montgomery County around 10 a.m. when the collision occurred. The 18-wheeler made contact with both vehicles, causing heavy damage. No charges have been filed in connection to this case as State Troopers continue with their investigation.
