Tire Flies Off Southbound Truck, Kills Northbound Driver

One person was killed when a tire flew off a vehicle and hit another car in Lexington, according to Mass. State Police. The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. at exit 31A on Route 128 southbound. Mass. State Police told FOX25 the truck was going southbound and lost a tire. The tire then jumped the median barrier, striking a vehicle going northbound. That driver of that car, a male, was killed at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.“People take their life for granted, they’re on their way home to work right now and the next thing you know a tire flies and kills you,” one driver said.
