Whole Foods Recalls Macadamia Nuts In 6 States

Hey you — Did you buy raw macadamia nuts from Whole Foods? Did you buy them in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee? If so, then you might want to check the label to see if they belong to the batch of nuts being recalled for potential Salmonella contamination. According to the FDA, the recalled “Whole Foods Market Raw Macadamia Nuts” were packaged in 5.6 oz. plastic tubs with sell-by dates of 4/22/15, 5/4/15 and 5/6/15 and a UPC code of 7-23055-21415-3. Thankfully, no illnesses have been reported thus far.
