Woman Who Purchased Insurance After Crash Charged With Fraud

A 25-year-old Bristol Township woman is facing insurance fraud charges after she allegedly claimed her car was in an accident the day before she obtained insurance coverage on it. Bucks County Detectives, who investigated a referral from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, allege that a 2004 Nissan Altima belonging to Alisha Aigner Jones was involved in a two-car accident on March 17 in the 3400 block of Bristol Oxford Valley Road. Jones was not driving the car, police said.But the day after the accident, Jones contacted Capitol Insurance Co. and obtained a car insurance policy for her Altima.
