* WHERE...Portions of northwest North Carolina, including the
following county, Ashe and southwest Virginia, including the
following county, Grayson.
* WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 206 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.

Little Helton Creek, Little Phoenix Creek, Jerd Branch, Dog
Creek, Little Horse Creek, Big Horse Creek, Grassy Creek, Cut
Laurel Creek, Helton Creek and Big Laurel Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
