The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers... Ohio River at Cincinnati. Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Ohio River at Maysville. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 49 feet, flooding of lowland areas near the river occurs in Mason County. Backwater flooding into creeks and streams can also be expected. Flooding also occurs in Brown County, especially along Eagle and Straight Creeks. The City of Maysville itself is protected to a stage of 79 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 AM EDT Wednesday, the stage was 48.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue to fall, remaining below flood stage. - Action stage is 48.0 feet. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
