A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until midnight EDT for northeastern Ohio.
At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Cleveland Heights to Macedonia to near Akron. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cleveland, Akron, Willowick, Ravenna, Chardon, Cuyahoga Falls, Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights, Kent, Solon, Willoughby, Hudson, Twinsburg, Eastlake, Tallmadge, Streetsboro, Warrensville Heights, Macedonia, and South Russell.
