A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
northeastern Kansas.
At 555 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Valley Falls to near Grantville. Movement
was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down twigs or small limbs and blow
around objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Valley Falls, Oskaloosa, McLouth, Ozawkie, Winchester, and Perry
Lake.
