Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued 1100 AM CDT.this afternoon at 200 PM CDT.
Some patchy dense fog will restrict visibilities to less than one-half of a mile across north and parts of central Georgia. The fog should lift after 8 AM. If driving this morning, slow down, use low-beam headlights and leave extra distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
