Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Chambers and Harris.
* WHEN...Until 1115 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 813 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Northwestern Pasadena, Baytown, Deer Park, South Houston,
Galena Park, Jacinto City, Channelview, Cloverleaf,
Highlands, Barrett, Second Ward, Greater Eastwood, Golfcrest
/ Bellfort / Reveille, Houston Ship Channel, San Jacinto
State Park, Sheldon, Northshore, Hunterwood, El Dorado /
Oates Prairie and Clinton Park Tri-Community.
