A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for west central Texas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for west central Texas.
At 910 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over western San Angelo, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... San Angelo, Miles, Carlsbad, Orient, San Angelo State Park, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, Lake Nasworthy, Grape Creek, Goodfellow Air Force Base, and Harriet.
