* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following counties, Cabarrus and Mecklenburg. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 450 PM EDT, After a heavy rainfall across greater Charlotte and Concord, excessive runoff throughout the upper Rocky River basin will continue into the evening hours. Flooding of low-lying areas along Mallard Creek is ongoing. Remain wary of high water along Pavilion Blvd and the Mallard Creek Greenway. Along Back Creek, watch for developing flooding along Stallings and Pharr Mill Roads. Further downstream, along the Rocky River, the river will be flooding low-lying areas this evening, approaching roads such as Robinson Church, Sequoia Hill and Mount Pleasant Roads. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
