* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Vermont, including the following counties, Caledonia, Essex and Orleans. * WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Rivers like the East Branch of the Passumpsic River at East Haven and streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1021 PM EDT, The river gauge at East Haven on the East Branch of the Passumpsic River has crossed into minor flood stage resulting from heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen. - Rainfall rates are decreasing with up to another 0.25 inches expected. The flood wave will move down the East Branch of the Passumpsic River over the next few hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
