At 1051 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Arlington to 8 miles west of Cheney to Norwich. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Wichita, Derby, Haysville, Park City, Valley Center, Bel Aire, Mulvane, Goddard, Rose Hill, Maize, Kingman, Clearwater, Cheney, Sedgwick, Colwich, Conway Springs, Haven, Garden Plain, Mount Hope, and Pretty Prairie.
