SUMMARY Responsible for engaging with complex teams, departments/programs, and stakeholders to promote an Agile mindset, serving as a trusted educator and consultant to teams and team leadership, ensuring the consistent application of Agile best practices and tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evangelize Agile values and principles across the organization to influence business agility.
Guide complex teams and/or small departments/programs in designing methods of visualizing and collaboratively managing their work.
Plan and facilitate moderately complex and/or team level meetings for purposes of idea generation, planning, retrospection, problem solving, and alignment.
Help team/program leaders foster an agile environment and address systemic impediments that constrict the flow of value through teams.
Guide teams and/or programs in designing feedback mechanisms to promote frequent learning and adaptation.
Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members; may provide feedback to leadership on Agile mindset of team.
Provide guidance to leadership on team and/or program composition and alignment based on organizational needs/changes.
Participate in Center of Excellence/Community of Practice activities and apply Agile practices.
Attend external educational events and share new knowledge internally.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Five (5) or more years of experience in Agile coaching or a related role
Experience in project management or team leadership Certified Scrum Manager - PSM I, CSM or equivalent SAFe Scrum Master Certification - Certification in Scaled Agile practices SKILLS Strong understanding of Agile methodology and its principles Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or SAFe Strong empathy skills Knowledge of iteration planning processes and techniques Skilled in team and workshop facilitation Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relationships with stakeholders Ability to drive process optimization Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives Interested in working from home?
