Responsibilities Assist with the daily review of security alerts across enterprise security tools, including SIEM, email security platforms, and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) dashboards .

Perform initial triage on lowseverity security events , escalating findings as appropriate under the guidance of senior team members.

Support the maintenance and execution of phishing simulation campaigns , including associated user awareness and training initiatives.

Review vulnerability scan findings and assist with tracking, validation, and followup activities for remediation items.

Provide support for light penetration testing activities under supervision, gaining exposure to common attack vectors and defensive controls.

Assist with documentation of security processes, findings, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Cyber Security team members to understand realworld security operations and incident response workflows.

Participate in crossfunctional learning opportunities, with the ability to gain exposure to Security Analytics and Identity & Access Management (IAM) functions.

Apply curiosity, attention to detail, and a securityfirst mindset to daily tasks and learning opportunities.

Qualifications Required

Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field.

Foundational understanding of: Security operations concepts (SIEM, EDR, email security) Common security threats such as phishing, malware, and credential abuse Vulnerability management basics Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to assess alerts and identify potential risks.

Interest in handson learning within a Security Operations (SecOps) environment.

Ability to follow procedures, document findings clearly, and communicate effectively with team members.

Demonstrated traits of curiosity, teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail .

Nice to Have Familiarity with: Phishing simulation tools Vulnerability scanning platforms Basic penetration testing concepts or labs Exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM) or security analytics concepts.

Academic labs, projects, or certifications related to cyber security fundamentals.
