Responsibilities Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is currently seeking an intern to support the IT department for the Summer.
As an intern you will be learning key fundamental business skills.
You will be working in an incredibly fast moving business, and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions.
As an Intern in our Hardware Services Team, you will assist on projects, new users setups, configurations, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
Responsibilities: Setup/image employee desktop and laptops as part of upgrade migration strategy Install Software/Hardware for Telephony platform migration Responding to individual Help Desk requests for IT support issues Using IT Help Desk Ticket system to document, prioritize, and track requests Coordinate setup of new employee resources Diagnosing hardware and software related problems Documenting systems, processes and/or procedures Installing/configuring new computers/telephones Installing software, patches and rollups to end-user workstations Install software on desktops and laptops as required to support business needs Troubleshooting printers/scanners/copiers Maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies (cables, adapters, toner, ink etc.)
Qualifications Must be currently pursuing a degree in IT or any other computer related major
