Position Description:

IT Project Manager Location: Flexible/Remote (Offices in multiple locations) Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 Industry: Property & Casualty Insurance | IT Project Management | Software & Data About the Role Founded over four decades ago, our client is one of the largest privately held property & casualty AM Best "A" rated carriers in the United States. They are known for their profitable growth, exceptional work culture, and superior underwriting practices. Our client is currently seeking a hands-on leader for software, data, and IT infrastructure projects in the IT Project Manager role. This position will involve managing multi-year strategic initiatives, medium-sized system enhancements, ongoing support releases, and various other IT-related projects. Key Responsibilities Lead project teams to define objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and budgets Manage project resources, including internal team members, contractors, and project tools Monitor potential project risks and develop strategies for mitigation Ensure effective testing and validation processes are in place Track progress against established milestones and budgets Oversee project completion by confirming all deliverables are met Skills & Experience Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and proven experience delivering projects from inception to delivery Experience developing and managing project artifacts 2+ years in the property and casualty insurance industry 5+ years of experience leading matrixed, cross-functional teams Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager within a technology or enterprise project management setting Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 Benefits Include: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, long-term care insurance, paid parental leave, vacation, and additional paid time off
