More information is available at > . SUMMARY Responsible for supporting leave of absence programs for clients. This includes monitoring and tracking state and local legislation, providing practical analysis of key developments, and providing guidance to employers on implementation and application of various leave law provisions. Support the leave vendor evaluation process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide practical guidance to clients with navigating leave of absence programs, providing guidance on complex questions and supporting escalations in coordination with the leave vendor Provide practical guidance to employers on implementation and application of various leave law provisions. Serve as a liaison between leave of absence program clients, the leave vendor, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective case management and communication. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and applicable state laws. Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling and confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Identify when updates are needed to policies, legal timelines, and other internal documents. Provide general Q&A support as needed for clients. Assist with formatting and finalizing audits of client policies and procedures to determine potential compliance gaps. Identify opportunities to improve leave workflows, communication practices, and overall employee experience. Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information). Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Two (2) or more years experience with either in-house (with a company) leave management, consulting in the absence and disability space, or leave-related experience with an insurance carrier or leave administration vendor SKILLS Knowledge of leave-related laws/regulations: FMLA; ADA; FMLA-parallel; PFML; paid sick leave, and pregnancy-related leave Understanding of regulatory agencies and rulemaking processes that can impact leave administration Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, planning and organizational skills, and investigation and research skills Detail oriented with excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills Ability to identify problems, and provide thoughtful and practical solutions Ability to meet deadlines and deliver content in a timely manner while keeping with established processes Ability to lead or take direction, as appropriate #LI-JP1 #LI-REMOTE Interested in working from home?
