Product Analyst - New Braunfels, TX (78132)

Standard Casualty Company is looking for an early career level product analyst or experienced personal lines underwriter interested in making a career move into the Product Department.

This position involves assisting with the implementation of the Product Roadmap and is designed to be a developmental role within the Product Management career path.

Typical duties include: Track and report on filing activities of competitors Track and report on legislative and regulatory changes that impact policy forms, rates, and Underwriting Guidelines.

Maintain documentation protocols for Product related activities Assist in the development of rate/rule and forms filings Analyze company data to identify trends useful in the development of forms, rates, and Underwriting Guidelines.

Coordinate with third party actuaries in the development of rates, and in the development of rate, form and Underwriting Guidelines Interpret and monitor results of third-party Underwriting and Pricing models Conducts research and analysis on new products/territories.

Assists in preparation of response to inquiries by states regarding rate and policy form filings.

Any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements: 3-5 years experience as a personal lines underwriter, preferably with homeowners experience OR 1-2 years experience as a personal lines product analyst or equivalent Position is on site full time.  No remote opportunities.
