An A+ rated national specialty insurance carrier is hiring an experienced Senior Litigation Specialist to manage a high-value caseload of complex, litigated commercial casualty claims .

This is a fully remote opportunity to join a team of seasoned litigation professionals handling some of the carrier's most severe and technically demanding files —typically with values exceeding $250,000 .

Ideal for candidates with a background in excess & surplus lines , high-exposure commercial claims, or attorneys looking to move into a carrier-based litigation role, this position offers significant responsibility, national exposure, and long-term stability.

Responsibilities: Independently manage a caseload of primarily litigated, high-severity commercial casualty claims across multiple jurisdictions Evaluate liability, exposure, coverage, and legal strategy on complex claims Develop and execute litigation strategies in coordination with defense counsel Monitor and manage outside counsel performance, legal spend, and case progression Ensure compliance with all internal policies, claims handling best practices, and regulatory requirements Prepare timely, detailed claim summaries and updates for senior management Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriters, actuaries, and claims leadership Who You Are: 7–10 years of experience in commercial casualty claims handling, with a strong emphasis on litigation management Prior work with carriers , TPAs , or insurance defense law firms highly preferred
