Reporting Line: Collections Manager Job

Summary: The World Collection Network (WCN) and Monitoring Coordinator is responsible for the liaison between the international contracted partners / business units and the domestic policy holders / clients.

He/she is responsible for overseeing and tracking the collection activities of the international contracted partners / business units on export, solvent, insolvent, pre-legal and legal files.

He/she is also creating, implementing and maintaining proper monitoring processes and procedures, as well as overseeing and tracking the activities on files.

Responsibilities and Duties Assign each case with the appropriate international partner for collection: Monitor and track the status of the collection efforts of the international partners Validate and enter costs into the Collection system and obtain approval from the appropriate stakeholder Comply with org standards and operational guidelines Request additional / missing documentation to aid collection efforts when necessary Advise policy holders, brokers, clients and service providers on appropriate next steps for the pre-legal and or legal collection process Inform appropriate stakeholders on the pre-legal or legal collection process and on any developments/status Monitor and confirm expected payments made directly to the policyholder, client, service users (other business units) or external partners (ex attorneys) so that they can be appropriately recorded on the case Ensure a smooth exchange of information amongst all involved domestic and international parties Collect on accounts where local assistance is not available and or where rates are not sufficient to cover the cost of contracting an external partner Communicate the authentication for legalization process of documents efficiently and assist all stakeholders Oversee, advise and track the collection activities of the Policy Holder Obtain evidence (email, updates) from Policy Holder on their collection efforts Document and ensure timely and appropriate collection efforts are being reported by the policy holder to yield the highest level of success Required

Qualifications and Skills Associates degree 3-5 years of experience in collections, claims, or paralegal Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken Ability to understand and explain the legal process Must be organized and detail oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Some knowledge of credit insurance industry is desired Strong oral and written communication skills #LI-BP1 Looking for candidates that possess a basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes: (Generative) Artificial Intelligence or GenAI or AI Data Analysis (Microsoft) Copilot ChatGPT Total compensation range: $65,000 - $ 75,000 Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience, skills for the role and location.
