1 Dead, 10 Injured in Mississippi Motorhome Crash
Monday, January 9th, 2012 AutoA motorhome bound for a college football championship game in New Orleans went off Interstate 59 in southern Mississippi and struck a tree, killing one person and injuring 10 others. WDAM-TV reports that the motorhome from Georgia was carrying 13 passengers when it left the interstate around 4:30 p.m. just north of the Evelyn Gandy parkway exit. Some interstate lanes were blocked as the injured were transported by ground and air to local hospitals.
